Place of Refuge, Kahunas, The Secret...
It all started on our trip to Hawaii. Constantin and I snorkeled and swam with turtles at Place of Refuge one day but for some reason Constantin wanted to go back to that place. As we were walking to the Place of Refuge, something stung one of my toes really bad!!! It was awfully painful. I removed the stinger immediately, it looked like a very tiny white-yellow arrow.
While at the place of refuge I had a weird feeling, something was puzzling me, I knew something but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Constantin noticed I was not “there”.
I have to mention the Place of Refuge at Honaunau" is the most complete restoration of an ancient Hawaiian religious sanctuary in Hawaii.
Hawaiians often chased down an offender and swiftly put him to death unless he could reach a puuhonua, or place of refuge. There he could be absolved by a kahuna (priest) in a purification ceremony, then return home with his transgression forgiven. Defeated warriors and non-combatants could also find refuge here during times of battle.
After we came back home, one night I woke up scratching my toe intensely. I immediately knew that I have to look into the place of Refuge and kahunas.
I knew very little about kahunas at the time, as Alicia mentioned something to me.
In one of our boosting session I made a joke asking the guys to boost my toe .
I know that always when something bad happens to me something really great will follow. Not that I needed a boost, but the place of refuge, the stung and kahunas were puzzling me more then ever.
The insect or whatever stung me wanted my attention badly and the only way it could get it, was to sting me
As everyone was making fun of my toe, we boosted this place. Mike got “caves” while I was getting two words very clearly: one was “comoara” which is the Romanian translation for “treasure” and the other was “SECRET”. Mike was right on: there are sea caves near Honaunau.
The “secret treasure” is more a knowledge secret then a gold treasure. It was kahuna’s secret treasure, perhaps their secret knowledge.
As Alicia was not present in the chat I called her to ask more about kahunas and their secret. She knows more about kahunas.
She told me that huna actually means secret and kahunas means keepers of the secret. Wow! I did not know any of these!!! Now imagine me more puzzled.
I was thinking that has definitely something to do with the movie “the Secret” and Alicia mentioned exactly the same thing to me. Double WOW! Alicia said: “Lilly you are onto something“: - The Secret!!! “the knowing principle of all things".
Next days I meditated on kahunas and their secret and got that their secret can be accessed in the Akashic records. I have also done some search on the internet and found out more about kahunas: they were the transmitters of ancient teachings, maintainers of the spiritual tradition and its practices in law, science, the arts, medicinal and spiritual healing, architecture, education, engineering, meteorology and agriculture.
Donna, Alicia and I decided to boost the kahunas to get more messages maybe we can find more about their secret. First thing Donna and I got were dolphins. Next I saw coconut and palm trees and a piece of wood with some weird words which I didn’t understand. Donna mentioned acacia wood is a sacred wood which the Ark is made of.
While the three of us were boosting I saw a veil of energy - unseen knowledge surrounding us. I knew our subconscious minds received the secret of kahunas which is about healing but it has also to do with what’s hot topic at this present time: The Secret: - The law of attraction”.
Quite a few critical, antagonistic people will say:”that’s crap, quackery, BS" and so on. Well… they are so right: its the law of attraction at work for them and that’s exactly what they will be receiving. "If The Secret hit the media then it‘s definitely something like mind control" etc - others will say!!! But those people don‘t know that we‘ve been boosting the media for quite some time and this is the GREATEST confirmation that our boosting works! Nagging, blaming, criticizing, judging will attract more of these. But again if they want to stay in lower vibration the Universe will respond accordingly. Happiness never comes from blaming, criticizing, judging others. Its impossible to criticize and be happy at the same time, the brain will not possibly do that. See the power of a smile.
Other antagonistic people know the secret and apply it for themselves only. But… when it comes to sharing they won’t do it because of insecurity and/or love for control/manipulation. Some really lack the simple understanding that this Universe is abundant, there is more then enough for everyone on this planet.
I happened to meditate in the park, on the grass, today. I had a really cool vision of grass growing abundantly: nature knows only abundance. Isn’t it great?
Ancient cultures knew the secret, kahunas knew the secret, Egyptians knew the secret. But how many and who knew and applied it? The ones who were in control. Wondering why 1% of the population have 96% of the wealth today? Well… this is going to change because the masses know the secret NOW!!! It is nothing wrong to be healthy, to be prosperous, to be abundant, happy and have joy, its our birthright. As the whales let me know in my meditation in Hawaii: 2007 is the year of awakening and Unity. People wake up and this is just wonderful.
While boosting I was thinking of Hawaiian words and their power: Aloha, mahalo, but one really resonated with me at that moment: “Ohana”. The literal translation for ‘Ohana is family, however in Hawaii, within one’s ‘Ohana are those who are family, and those you choose to call your family. As a Hawaiian value, ‘Ohana is a human circle of complete aloha- Love.
Words as well as thoughts are energy so kahunas must have been using powerful words in their miraculous healings or before they walked on lava. More then that they used the power of an unseen force which many cultures use: God, Christ, Buddha, higher self etc. They had also used an intelligence and an unseen substance also called ectoplasm” to put this power to work, to do miracles as walking on hot lava.
In the book Alicia sent me (she is into Kahunas for a long time) - “The secret science behind miracles”, Max Freedom Long talks about three elements kahuna must have been used to measure all “magic”: “consciousness”, “force”, invisible matter”.
I am not sure if they used Love, maybe they did. Not sure who said this but I heard this from Rhonda- the producer of "the secret" movie that the law of Attraction is also called the Law of Love. Nice!
-Consciousness
-Force- life force
-Invisible matter
-Love
Alicia came with something really cool: “All sub-atomic particles exist in two states. Initially they are hazy, wavy-state which is not yet solid-state. Once we decide to observe (concentrate) a particle, the act of observation collapses the hazy wavy-state, then suddenly the particle becomes solid with a real identity and some real. That’s how our 3D become solid. You make life by observing. that’s what called MANIFESTATION.”
Everything we asked and visualized for our trip to Hawaii was manifested, it was the perfect trip: we asked the dolphins to show up: they were there for us, we asked the manta rays to swim with us while we were diving with them, they did it that; we asked the turtles to show up, they were there. We were amazed how many things we were asking for, we actually received. When we were about to board the plane, we found out the plane was completely full and we all we wanted was a bit of a comfort. I told Constantin: “lets boost”, few minutes later we heard our names called. We’ve been asked if we want more comfortable seats!!! all we had to do is to help in case of emergency, so of course we said YES!!!. Boosting, law of attraction, whatever it is called, works!
Donna, Alicia and I met again to boost kahunas and their secret, all of using powerful affirmations and great intent. While using these powerful words connecting with kahuna’s secret the three of us started to feel hot and/or smell burning. Alicia thought it was coming from the kitchen, however no one was burning anything. Donna thought her husband was burning pans, my whole body was incredible warm but weird I wasn’t sweating. When I do energy healing work, first thing people tell me, my hands are hot, I ask them to actually touch my hands, smiling, because I see their puzzled faces, my hands are never so warm, it’s the energy which feels HOT!
So what happened… we connected to the energy kahunas used when walking on lava or doing their miraculous healings. And all we did was to invoke powerful energy, saying great affirmations like: “Creative minds in UNITY”, “great hearts unite”, “creative mind is unlimited”, “open to miracles” , “feeling good” feeling good”, “we are deeply grateful for our life” and so on. Donna told me that Ricardo and her connected with Kalapana energy lava in Hawaii and that was really strong.
It all started with a sting … now we “know” the Secret, kahuna’s secret!

more about words of powerful vibration we were getting in that special boosting session...
The Way of Aloha ~ source:

The word Hawaii is not only the name of an extraordinarily beautiful group of islands in the Pacific Ocean, but it is also the name of the people who settled there long ago. The spoken language of the ancient Hawaiians was Polynesian, and developed from their relationship with the beauty and natural diversity that surrounded them. Tied so closely to nature, the Hawaiian language literally vibrates with deep and spiritual meaning rooted in the natural elements that surround us.
Hawaiian words are born of natural concepts and have many meanings, each of which is determine by the context in which they are used. The world 'HA-WAI-I' expresses several root meanings:
HA: the Sacred Breath of the Creation of Life
WAI: the Sacred Water that Sustains Life, a symbol of great abundance
I: emphasizes what comes before it
HA-WAI-I can therefore be interpreted as "the people and the place gifted with an abundance of the forces that create and sustain life". The people and the islands are called Hawaii and Aloha is their way of life.
Ancient Hawaiian life was enamored of Nature as divine energy. Songs and chants praised the moon and the stars, the rivers and the flowers, the wind, the creatures of the sea, and the beautiful island paradise of Hawaii. Hawaiian songs related to the rhythm and movements of nature. Believing that the center of the universe exists in all beings and things, the ancient Hawaiians knew compassion, patience and joy, developing a deep respect for nature and the Akua (Spirit-in-all-things).
As a tourist in Hawaii, you might be given an aloha from the locals at the luau, but you'll have to look much deeper to find the roots of the word Aloha which extend to the ancient spiritual philosophy of Huna (secret knowledge). Commonly, Aloha is used both in greeting and in parting. It is also said to mean "love surrounds you" offering friendliness, acceptance and kindly blessings. Aloha is an all-encompassing concept that can be translated as "a way of being with and in the presence of Spirit". Huna master, Serge Kahili King, calls it "the joyful sharing of life energy in the present".
---------------
Essential to creating a life of community living is the idea of Kahi, oneness, and Lokahi, unity. To practice Aloha, we need to give up our deeply rooted assumption that we are all separate--to feel our inner connections with all people, places, and things. It's the belief that we are all separate that enables us to dump raw sewage into our beloved Kai (oceans) and spill each other's blood in war, (our ultimate miscreation!) which contradicts our most basic human need: to love and to be loved, the spiritual law of Aloha.
Aloha is pure joy. It's also the fragrance and color of a beautiful flower, the sound of children laughing, and the taste of ripe tropical fruit dripping with nectar. Aloha is the wondrous rhythm of Life, as well as the Spirit in and behind all Creation. 'The Way of Aloha' can be practiced and experienced anywhere, any time and with anyone. It is a path of love, harmony and appreciation for the beauty in all things and it is only available in the eternal moment of manawa (now). There is a saying in the book Conversations with God that helps me to remember where to find Paradise: "When I don't go within, I go without!"
Please take a moment now and just say the word slowly: A-l-o-h-a. Say it again even more slowly: A-L-O-H-A. Taste it in your heart, and feel it in your body! Close your eyes and feel your energy change as you say it a few more times, letting it in while breathing deeply for one full minute can change your day, your mood and your life. Feel the warm loving feeling this generates--the sun is shining in your heart! This is the great gift of Aloha. Enjoy!
Blessings of sacred light and everlasting love. _________________ Get My FREE eBook ---> http://psychicspiritinyou.com/balance-your-chakras-free-ebook/

Synchronicities & Omens - Signs of the Times

What’s in a cloud? It may be a lot more than just fluff. Many cultures around the world, both ancient and modern, have believed in signs and omens as a source of valuable information about life. To the native Hawaiians, a rainbow (anuenue) or an owl (pueo) appearing at just the right moment may help them make an important decision. Other cultures in the East, for instance in India, have developed elaborate systems of inducing answers from their immediate environment, like cracking open a coconut to see if a student is worthy of learning from the master. Mere superstition? Perhaps, but it may be worth a second look.
The study of omens, or what the native Hawaiians call “ho’ailona,” is based on the idea that our external world is constantly reflecting what we need to see in our internal world - if we choose to pay attention. It may be a direct communication from a higher spirit or an ancestor; it may be giving us confirmation that we’re doing the right thing or warning us of an impending danger. Whatever form it takes, and whatever purpose it has, it’s not just a coincidence. It’s most likely a pivotal event that can shift our perspective and connect us deeply with spirit. Carl Jung, the famous Swiss psychologist, wrote about this phenomenon extensively and coined the word “synchronicity,” which he described as meaningful coincidences that reveal the ultimate oneness of the universe.
For some people, interpreting omens can be confusing. Sometimes the message is “huna” or a secret and we may need to consult one who understands the secret, the “kahuna.” Recently I asked Kahu Kapiiohookalani Lyons Naone, called simply “Kahu,” a respected teacher of Hawaiian culture and spirituality at the Maui Community College, about the Hawaiian view of how to read signs correctly. He said, “What’s important is how we are on the inside. That’s where the answer is. If the sign gives you chicken skin or a blissful feeling then chances are it’s a good omen, a good communication. If it gives you a frightful feeling then it could be a warning of some type. That’s the basic rule of thumb, but we may need to prepare ourselves to receive a sign. For instance, if I’m preparing a spiritual event that connects with a higher purpose, I must first do a cleansing and purify myself (hiuwai). Normally Hawaiians go into the ocean which really means to die and be reborn. Afterwards I may sit on a rock and do a series of chants. If at that time a certain animal appears, particularly one that is connected to my genealogy (aumakua), like an eva bird, a shark, or an owl, it’s a very good sign.”
Similar to how Hawaiians consulted kahunas, people in India have looked to astrologers for guidance since ancient times. The study of omens is called “nimitta” and is an integral part of their ancient system of astrology, called Vedic astrology. In 1993, I studied with an old Vedic astrologer in South India who had his clients throw cowry shells after asking an important question. He would then analyze the shells and give his answer. This is a common divination system that induces a meaningful coincidence or synchronicity. One day a distraught man came in and said, “She’s left me again!! Will she ever come back?” As usual, the client was asked to throw the cowry shells. To my amazement one shell fell off the table, rolled along the floor, and went out the door! My teacher looked over at me and winked to see if I‘d gotten the message. This time she was ‘out the door’ and not coming back.
However, you don’t need cowry shells or any divination system really, because the external world is always communicating with us – at least according to omenology. Kahu explains, “There’s a constant communication going on, spiritual messages, and the language of nature (haloa naka), but we’ve lost the ability to hear the communications and interpret the language. Kahuna philosophy is that everything is there to teach us, to assist us, and to offer themselves up to us. This is the beginning of understanding where we are. Once we realize that we are the student and everything else is the teacher, then we start paying attention, we start respecting all things. This is the first step: to pay attention and have respect. Then we’re able to receive the communication.”
This is very similar to what I learned from another contemporary spiritual teacher, Byron Katie, who said, “The teacher is everywhere, all we have to do is ask.” Then Katie had us do something quite radical. She had us take a question to anything, absolutely anything that called to us in the moment. Some people chose to stay inside and ask their question to an inanimate object like the rug, or a lamp, while others roamed outside into the natural world. When we came back together we were amazed by people’s experiences. One man shared how the wall had taught him how to be ‘firm in his boundaries,’ while a woman said that a leaf had inspired her to ‘expand in new directions without losing connection to her roots.’ Most people had very profound experiences that bordered on life-changing revelations. I’ve realized, since talking with Kahu, that what Katie was doing was showing us how to pay attention and have respect.
Usually when you receive a communication it’s accompanied with a feeling of awe, but it can also be rather startling. “We’re not in control of how or what is communicated,” Kahu explained. “That’s up to the higher level. You may go sit on a rock and look around and realize that all of nature has a divinity – every single rock, every single leaf, every single animal and eventually something is going to reach out to you. It will appear, it will come.” Recently I was quite surprised with an omen that appeared. At my home I have a bird feeder outside my window and sometimes the neighbor’s rooster comes over and steals all the birdseed. Usually I get upset and have to chase him away. But one time, during an astrology reading, the rooster jumped on top of the bird feeder and began crowing repeatedly. – louder than ever! It was the perfect message for my client who was just talking about needing to stand up for herself, and claim her space!!
In our fast paced, modern world it’s not always easy to create time and space to pay attention and recognize that a valuable communication is happening but when we do, the results may be rewarding, if not life changing. “It may take patience, and openness and humbleness,” Kahu went on to say, “but in an internal, spiritual way you’re going to bond with whatever appears. The kahuna realizes that patience and respect is the greatest part of the practice.”
Enjoy experimenting with these ideas. You may be surprised. The next rainbow you see might just be the answer you were looking for. _________________
